Beyond your photos – I give you an experience you’ll want to relive for your future family photos and beyond.

experience

You can expect an elevated, one-of-a-kind experience, without all the fuss.

Your wedding is best photographed when things are left to unfold as they do. While I won’t ask you to fake cry for a photo or read the same card multiple times, I promise to tell you just what to do with your hands and how to pose when you need instruction. I work quickly and efficiently to allow you the most time possible to enjoy your day as you intended – with your people.

Relaxed yet intentional. Heart, humour, and a lot of “holy shit, that’s us!!!” when you get your photos back.

the experience

I keep a tight knit client roster every year so that each one of my clients can get the very best experience – the one that they deserve, and the one that I wouldn’t be able to give them if I was flooding my calendar with bookings. I only accept a maximum of 25 weddings per year so that I can balance my bucket-filling personal life with my bucket-filling career. This lets me show up as the best version of me, for you.

You reach out via my contact form. I’ll respond to you as fast as humanly possible. I like to make things easy, so I’ll send you a link to my pricing guide and a little more information right away – no mandatory phone call. The next step is in your hands, we can set up a FaceTime/video chat, phone call or in person meeting. Alternatively, if you’re sold right away, we move onto booking.

The First Hello

two

Beyond your new spouse and your rings, you’ve got your images. While I always encourage clients to build a custom collection if they don’t see anything that speaks to them entirely, I offer three curated collections that have been tailored with years of experience to allow you to get the most out of your experience and investment with me.

Investing In Your Day

three

To secure your date, I require a $1000 retainer and a signed contract. We’ll work closely from this step until your wedding, so I’m always available to you during the booking process and will touch base periodically.. A few months before you say “I do,” I’ll send you a questionnaire so that I can gather some more information about your big day and the people closest to you.

Securing Your Date

four

6-8 weeks after your wedding day, I deliver the photos that prove that you and your partner had an incredible day. The photos that you’ll share right away with a “holy shit!!!” text along right beside it. You can expect 50-100 photos per hour of coverage in your gallery, and it stays online for a minimum of a year.

Gallery Delivery

five

Depending on the collection you picked, you may have an album included or you may choose to add one on. We will design your dream album together, and then I will send it to my album printer in Vancouver. From there, it will be in your hands 8-12 weeks after the final design is approved.

What Makes Me Different & What You Can Expect

2. Non-Intrusive, but always there.

I can read and adapt to a room faster than your guests can find the open bar. I know how to blend in to capture the little moments, and when to pop out to capture the big ones, too. I am directive, and can take control of a situation when need be (rowdy groomsmen) – and sit back and capture other moments when no direction is needed… like when your dad who has been holding his tears in all day finally stops holding back. Basically, I’m easygoing and can roll with just about anyone – but never at the expense of the photos you deserve.

1. I actually give a shit about my clients.

For me, this goes deep beyond contracts and invoices. It even goes beyond your photos. It’s about the people. It’s walking your grandma to her seat, sewing you into your dress, or seeing that you just need a minute with your new spouse, and pulling you away “for photos” so you can breathe and get a drink. My biggest goal is for you to feel like you’re in good hands (because you are).

4. Supportive beyond your images.

First and foremost, your day is about you – which means I am there to support you, and sometimes this doesn’t actually include your photos. It might mean running to get you a drink during downtime, giving you a hug when you need it, or politely wrangling rowdy folks. I am here to photograph your day, and your photos will feel the best when you feel your best.

3. Flexible and Responsive

I don't hold typical "office" hours.
As important as a quick response time is to me, I know it's equally as important to you – which means if I'm awake you'll receive a response as fast as humanly possible. Sometimes less than an hour, but always less than 12 hours.
I'm always happy to make time to chat to my couples on the phone, via email, or via text. Flexibility is also important to me, which means if you need to change a location or date for your engagement session or wedding, I will always do my best to make sure we are all super happy.

6. Happy Clients

I've spent years developing my business approach so I can bring you and yours the best version of me and my business. The fact that I've made or stayed friends with several of my couples years after their weddings, tells me I'm doing something right.
I only take 20 weddings a year because it’s incredibly important to me that I am able to take care of my clients the way I would want to be taken care of if I was in their position – full of heart, loud laughs, and incredible imagery.

5. Digital and physical memories.

As much as I want you to pull out your heirloom wedding album to show all of your friends and family, I know that sometimes geography makes that hard.

That’s why every wedding and elopement I photograph includes an easy-to-use online gallery — filled with fully retouched images, ready to download, share, and obsess over anytime and anywhere.
And if you’re a “give me something I can actually hold” person, my two biggest collections include the option to add a physical heirloom album or a second shooter at no extra cost (or if you’re a “give me everything” person – there’s an option for that, too). Whether you want to flip through your memories or make sure every single moment is caught from every angle.

7. The Right Fit

If you’ve made it to this point, and think we might be the right fit – we’re off to a good start.

I like to put all of this out in the open, because if there’s anything here that doesn’t fit your vibe, I’d rather you have the best experience for you, even if that’s with another photographer. I’m a real person who happens to be a photographer first, and a salesperson literally never.

How much time do you need for photos?

How much time can you give me? I will never be the one to tell you that you can’t join your cocktail hour, you need to give me 3 hours, or you have to do XYZ. If you are able to build 2 hours of photo time into your timeline, incredible. If you are able to build in 15 minutes here, 10 minutes there, and 10 minutes there, perfect. I work around your day, I don’t expect your day to work around me.

Do you offer full day coverage?

I offer hourly coverage, half day, full day, and really full day coverage. Send me a message here to get a link to all of my packages and pricing – no consultation call needed.

When and how will we receive our images?

Beyond the initial 24h sneak peek, you’ll receive all of your images in an online download gallery 6-8 weeks after your wedding. You’ll have access to this gallery for at least a year!

How many images do we get back?

As many as I can possibly give you. The only images I don't return to you are duplicates, test shots, ones with bugs flying in the way, etc. I don't photograph people when they're eating, either. No one wants that.

How do we book you?

It’s really, really easy around here. I believe in ease of access and simplicity.

First, you inquire here.
Next, I send you my pricing guide and more information. You get to decide the next steps. There’s no required phone calls, video chats or questionnaires before you book me, but I am always happy to make time to hop on a phone call or video chat if that’s your preference.

If you’re ready to lock it in, I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for $1000. All of this is done through an online portal, where you will sign your contract online and have access to different payment options (e-Transfer, all major CC’s).

What are your travel fees?

Travel to the Lower Mainland and Vancouver/Gulf Islands has a flat $500 fee. For everywhere else in Canada/the world, I have a package that includes full day coverage + travel so you don’t have to worry about the amount of coverage you’ll get, or flight and hotel prices fluctuating – that’s all on me.

Is it too early/too late to book?

I accept bookings up to 24 months out, and as soon as today.
