Mel and Josh were one of my very, very few local couples for their wedding season. As a Kelowna Wedding Photographer, the majority of my clients come from out of town, namely our neighbour to the East, Alberta.

After rescheduling our session 3 times because of the weather (and life!), we finally made it to this perfect, secluded beach spot in Kelowna. Lucky for us, just as we arrived the sun peeked out from behind the clouds and we were able to take full advantage of Kelowna’s early summer weather.

They wanted a setting that felt earthy, romantic, and a little rugged—a place that looked like it could belong on the west coast, but was actually here in Kelowna. So, we picked a rocky beach tucked along the Okanagan Lake, where the waves and rugged shoreline gave us the perfect mix of wild and beautiful.
